I started this movement to turn a heartbreaking loss into lasting change. In 2021, my beautiful daughter Randie Ann Smith was tragically murdered. Her life was a vibrant light. I created this space to honor her, speak her name, and ensure her legacy fuels a revolution of care. I refuse to let her story end in violence.

People often point to neat charts explaining the grief cycle. I am showing you the reality of that cycle in everyday life. Surviving the loss of a child means facing the hardest parts of the human experience. I am walking this path openly to share the raw truth of recovery and rebuilding.

True healing cannot happen in isolation. As I share my journey, my vision is to grow this mission into a true village. Families should never be left alone to navigate their darkest seasons with only praying hands emojis and shallow sympathies. True support requires presence and action.

The philosophy guiding this growth is simple... Feel, Deal, Heal. Together, we give ourselves the grace to feel our deepest emotions, secure practical tools to deal with the realities of reconstruction, and build a recovery zone for actual healing. Randie's Light aims to provide restorative mentorship, violence prevention resources, and digital safety education.
